Non-US Student Pilots

We will accommodate your training program to your personal needs!
We have students that fly a couple times a month and some that fly a couple times a week. In a perfect world, you will have 1 lesson per day, 5 days a week. We understand this is NOT REALISTIC for most people. We do recommend you try for 2 lessons per week, however.

Over the past four years that we have been teaching people to fly safely, most of our students have been able to get their private pilot certificate anywhere from $8,000 - $12,000 (most in the $10-12,000 range).

It depends on many factors: how often you fly, how much you study and the time you can devote to preparing for each lesson, and personal skill level. And of course there are factors beyond anyone's control - the weather!

Minimized Start-Up Costs
We understand that learning to fly is a very expensive undertaking - therefore, we have minimized the initial cost. This helps to ensure that flying is "right for you" without having to make a large initial investment. Some other schools charge as much as $1,000 up front in enrollment fees and courses. Our basic pilot package (which includes only the essential tools to get you on your way to solo flight), sells for only $68.

FAA Test Center
We provide testing services for all written exams required by the FAA. Our price of only $70 (for enrolled students), per exam cannot be beaten on Long Island. In addition to this, we offer free access to our Test Prep software. Our students can use the computers at our ground school facilities as often as they like to prepare for FAA written exams - absolutely Free of charge!
