Removing the Cover - Inside - Nose - Left Side - Fuselage/Empennage - Right Side

Left Side
Antennas -------------------check Check the Transponder & ADF antennas
Gear Bolts ------------------check Check bolts are there with the safety wire
Check that rubber bushing is secure
Main Gear & Chock ------check/30psi Remove Chock - Check for leaking fluids - Tire Tread - Tire Inflation
Verify Cotter Pin is Installed - Brake Discs - Brake Calipers
Fuel Vent -------------------check Must not be blocked by debris
Pitot mast -------------------clear All Three Holes should be clear
Wing Condition ---------check Leading Edge - Upper / Lower surfaces for damage or Frost

Tie down -------------------remove  
Wing tip & lights --------check    
Aileron ---------------------check Check overall condition & control rod
Flap -------------------------check Check overall condition & control rod































Antennas - Under the Belly of the Plane
   - Verify Transponder and ADF Antennas are still there

Main Gear Bolts
   

   - Check bolts are there with the safety wire
   - Check that rubber bushing is secure

Main Gear & Chock
   - Remove Chock - leaving one behind the left main landing gear
   - Check the ground for any leaking fluids (brake line fluid would be red)


   - Inspect the Brake Disk & Calipers for damage or excessive wear


   - Inspect Tire for good Tread, any bald spots, or exposed chord
   - Verify cotter pin is in
   - Inspect sidewall for excessive pinching (consider using to Gauge to verify 30 PSI)

Fuel Vent
   - The fuel tank vent is located behind the metal tab - the tube's opening should be clear

Pitot Mast
   - There are 3 holes that should be clear

Wind Condition
   - Make sure there is NO frost on the
   - Scan the Upper and Lower Surfaces for damage or missing rivets
   - Scan the leading edge for Dents / Damage

Tie-Down
   - Remove the tie-down

Aileron
   - Inspect for damage, missing rivets, etc.
   - Check for full range of motion & verify yoke is moving properly inside
        - Move the aileron by grabbing only on the Rivet Lines!
   - Verify Control Rod has its lock nut

   - Control Rod with Lock Nut

   - Check overall condition
   - Inspect Control Rod has its lock nuts
